BYU scoring by quarter

After watching the Cougars struggle in the third quarter most games this season, I thought I’d take a  look at BYU’s scoring by quarters this season. Only two third-quarter TDs this season, both vs. UCF.

BYU is currently on pace to have it’s lowest scoring season since 2003.

Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Final
Ole Miss 0 0 0 14 14
Texas 6 7 3 0 16
Utah 3 7 0 0 10
Central Florida 3 0 14 7 24
Utah State 10 3 0 14 27
San Jose State 9 14 3 3 29
Total 31 31 20 38 120
TD 2 4 2 5 13
FG 5 1 2 1 9
Safety 1 0 0 0 1

And BYU’s scoring by quarters each season of the Bronco Mendenhall era. So far, this season has the lowest average points in the first, second and third quarters.
